JUST IN NEW ARRIVAL "MR NITRO" metal sign Who is "MR. NITRO"? Here is a little story about him: He was a young "BOTTOM END DIVER" named "NATE". He was working on a famous Nostalgia Top Fueler from the 60's. Pullin' pistons between rounds, and just gettin' dirty, because he loved it! On his 18th birthday he got the chance to drive the long, spindely rail job. So he straps in with anticipation of a wild ride. He does the burnout and stages. On the flash of the three amber light, he stabs the loud pedal and he's off. Everything seems to be in slow motion,. He looks over and the competition is just a few feet behind him. As he concentrates on the finish line, at about the 1000 foot mark, the fuel system leans out and burns a piston. Then two connecting rod break sending a couple pistons out the right side of the 392 HEMI oiling him in. This sends hot, milky, white fluid all over his helmet and goggles. Then the red hot headers lite the oil & nitro mixture into a huge ball of fire. He hits the chute lever, trying to keep the dragster off the wall and in his own lane. It`s sliding around the track like it`s on ice. The chute opens and straightens the car out. As he brings the rail to a stop, its now totally engulfed in flames and thick black smoke. As he gets it stopped, there is no signs of the young first time driver. Is he okay? Is he dead? It looks like no one could survive a fire like this one. Miraculousley, out from the flames and smoke stumbles "MR. NITRO" as he would soon become known as. After recovering, the fire had left him with only half a face! He was hooked though! Now if you ever stage up against the young man they call "MR. NITRO", Watch out. He'll race you with one eye closed and when he beats you to the finish line, He'll celebrate with a hit off the nitro barrel. When you see him in the pits gettin' the car ready, he doesn`t use a Hydromiter to mix the fuel. He just tastes it to 98%! "LONG LIVE MR. NITRO"! AHWOOGA

About Ahwooga Ahwooga was born in casual conversation between Myself, Joe Chirco and my business partner Don Wiggins, whom I have worked with for many years. We were discussing the online venues we used as tools to grow our own aftermarket automotive parts companies. We understand it has been a difficult time in the automotive parts industry, not only to show a profit but to just keep your employees at work. Don and I kept coming to the same conclusion that maintaining our growth would be difficult when all things attached to sales on other marketplaces was driving the cost of doing business Sky High. We thought that if we could find other venues to list our products on, that had low or “no” sales fees, the added sales could help offset some of the other rising expenses. Many hours were spent searching for marketplaces that would fill the void but there was none to be had. It was at this point that we decided that something had to be done, and we were the guys to do it. We assembled a team of talented, and motivated car guys and laid out what was needed to help sellers add revenue to their companies at a very low expense. After a year of pretty intensedevelopment we finally made our vision a reality. Ahwooga was born. I built my automotive companies the same way that many other hard working people have. Lots of work, long hours, and cold dinners. I started selling parts at swap meets in the late 70’s on the west coast and that feeling of connecting with people who share the same interest has never left me. This is the same feeling we want to bring to all people that use Ahwooga. It is a secure environment with great tools to allow sellers to be the BOSS of their Ahwooga stores. We would not impose our will on such things as “what payment methods” a seller can accept or how a seller should ship their products. We wanted to offer sellers the most for their money so we will never have any final sales fees. You work hard for your money and its about time you get to keep it. We have four simple membership plans. We are confident one will meet your needs. If you don’t need a membership plan and only have an item or two to sell, that’s cool. Non-members can list single items for 1 buck each. Period. One buck. We also wanted to offer forums where you can post questions and get information, or just hang out and chat and meet some new friends. Ahwooga was built for you. Our team will be there for you every step of the way, this is your community, please have fun. Promote and sell your products with confidence and freedom. Remember, were car guys too, we know. Please check our event schedule in the forums as I personally will be traveling across the country promoting Ahwooga and our sellers at many shows and swapmeets. Here is my latest project. Had the car since 1987 and haven`t worked on it in 14 years! Sold the dragster to a guy in CANADA and kept the motor for this car. Hope to race in the B/GAS 8.60 class. WISH ME LUCK! It`s DEC. now,and we just got the CURRIES 9" rear end and ALSTON ELIMINATOR II 4 link back frame kit. We are on our way. See ya at the track.
